and his CD burner, a jumper was used to set his CD ROM drive as Master or Slave. Just taking a look inside one of those things was enough for me. I just uninstalled Direct CD, and Easy CD worked. I discovered I no longer had D (CD ROM) drive -- it disappeared from My Computer under Windows ... I tried burning some cd's today for a friend using his 'very cheap' cd's and both times nero crashed.
