CD RW Slowing Down
I also went out and bought Roxio for the Drag and drop feature. Obviously that cause other problems.Anyway, works perfectly now. USB Port disabled. Initially it records quickly but then slows right down with long pauses; occasionally get the same thing with flash drive - is this natural or some problem with caching or whatever?

It has support for some more of the newer drives that have came out. I'm very impressed with the Hewlett Packard CD-RW and the printer I have. It's not much consolation to find out that you're the only one in your circle of PC users with a sick hard disk. When there is even a slight flaw in the disk it can actually explode into fragments when it spins up to full speed. Most bad burns are due to defective media.
