now the hard drive keeps cutting in and out (connects/disconnects) and gives me a message saying I need to format the drive before I can use it. I can see the drive under my devices, I can update the driver but when I try to access it, it does not exist on my computer. My drive showed up there not in the top list. it is difefrent from shoiwing up with no name.. Sorry if im incorrect in assuming.

I tried it on 3 different computers with no success! The manual that come with the picture frame states that this is supposed to be recognized as a USB DISK. Re formating as i write this!.. stuff that. what he described is what happens with me..except I couldn't find anywhere th Explorer file where I can delete the upperfilter and lowerfilter..so what now?The only drives taht show up are Computer Won't Recognize Usb Device Other USB devices like flash drives did connect to this laptop.

In Disk management you can see the device appear and the disappear every 30 seconds or so. I was at work when my laptop suddenly started to act particularly strange. Next, open the Disk Management tool. I've tried this method in an attempt to fix this issue, but was unsuccessful.
