I came to realize that the mouse and the keyboard were not working as well. A few days ago my USB 3.0 port stopped working. Now decide what USB port you want the device to function from and plug it into that port. It was set to off but was able to power my mp3 player.
any ideas how to fix that? At least some others have had some luck.
