im going crazy trying to figure this out please help!!!! Was able to get rid of it using Mcafee, but programs got affected as I could not open them. right click it again, and start the service.... Had to restart into safe mode (F8 key before the XP Logo displays), do a system restore to a couple weeks back. I have the same issue as everyone else--can't get programs to run at all. Usually it just screws my system in other ways. my site Say ok and now everyhting will work. Can't Open Exe Files Windows Xp I never downloaded this program and I can't even close it, unless I use the Task Manager. Unable To Open Any Programs In Windows Xp even though I got the error, I guess its working.
