For grins, I used Netscape to download zonealarms...but stil IE does not access the internet....should I go to windows updates and try downloading the latest updates there..using Netscape? Is there a way to dl a driver and burn it onto disk so I can actually get it to the comp that needs it? Try reinstalling the modem device driver.
